The divorce procedure at a notary is faster and simpler than court, but it is only possible if both spouses have agreed to a divorce and have no disagreements on the other aspects arising out of their relationship.

To file for a divorce with a notary, you and your spouse must submit a joint application. Upon receipt of an application for divorce, a notary will explain the applicants the legal consequences arising from divorce.
