How to complain about a decision to apply restrictive measures?

If the police applied restrictive measures while escorting you to the mental health care institution although this was not necessary, or the measures were too restrictive for the given situation, such behaviour may be an excessive use of force and considered to be abuse. If you believe that this happened in your case, you have the right to complain.

How to submit a complaint?

To complain about the behaviour of a police officer, you should submit a complaint to his/her direct supervisor. The police  will either examine your submission and might ask you for additional explanations or documentation, if necessary. You may also submit a complaint to the Prosecutor’s Office
